I have always had a love and appreciation for the restoration of old, historic homes and have always sought out renting those kinds of homes. It is obvious that John Barkley and his outstanding team share that love and put so much of that love and extra effort into each property. When I saw the Annie St house, I fell in love. It was beautifully restored with all the original fixtures, hardwood floors and cabinetry. It felt like home. And after nearly 4 years residency at this location ai can honestly say that there is no better home, price or team to hang my hat with. Not only can you be supremely proud of your home but you can rest easy knowing that anything you need from the Barkley team is a phone call away. Do not pass up an opportunity to rent from them.

I've been living in a Barkley Houses property for 4 years and it has been a great experience. Everyone at Barkley Houses is very responsive and friendly and I've never had even a minor maintenance request that has taken more than a day ot two to be fixed. I also love living in a place that not the usual cookie-cutter type of apartment you see in Austin. I'm so glad Barkley Houses sees the value in these older buildings and does the work to keep them around.
